Http monitoring Firefox with Fiddler

If you want to monitor requests made in Firefox with Fiddler, you have to configure the Firefox proxy settings first. Fiddler by default uses the proxy address of and port 8888. In Firefox click Tools -> Options, choose the ‘Network’ tab, under ‘Connection’ choose ‘Settings’.

The ‘Connection Settings’ window pops up. Choose ‘Manual proxy configuration’, and set ‘HTTP Proxy:’ to ‘’ and ‘Port:’ to ‘8888’.
Also check the option ‘Use this proxy server for all protocols’.

And now Fiddler will monitor your HTTP requests!
